Limited Edition Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist

If you’ve seen my Instagram account lately you’ll know that I’m gradually exploring a brand called Omorovicza.

Omorovicza is a luxury brand from Budapest whose products are powered by a potent blend of Hungary’s mineral-rich healing waters and I figured there was no better product to start with than their iconic and award winning Queen of Hungary Mist.

This beautiful and aromatic toner was inspired by the world’s first recorded perfume which was created in the 14th century for Queen Elizabeth of Hungary.

Infused with Orange Blossom, Rose and neroli this delicate facial mist has been created with Hungarian Nobel prize-winning dermatologists, resulting in a patented delivery system which enables the absorption by the skin of the minerals in the healing waters of the ancestral Omorovicza spring.

The result? Firmer, supple and younger looking skin.

Designed to be used after cleansing as a gentle toner or throughout the day as refreshing, hydrating pick-me-up, this beautiful mist not only perks up your skin but soothes and calms your mind.

Fortified with Apple Pectin and nutrient-rich vitamins, the delicately fragranced mist delivers long-lasting hydration and revitalises your skin with just a few spritz. It’s patented technology of Hydro Mineral Transference™ utilises minerals to target the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, leaving your skin feeling supple, looking younger and feeling refreshed.

It all sounds a bit too good to be true doesn’t it? How can a facial mist REALLY deliver all this?

Well, I don’t know, but it really does.

I am completely and utterly hooked.

I personally choose to use the mist throughout the day, either with or without make up for times when my skin is feeling tired, parched and looking dull.

A few gently sprays over my face and my skin instantly feels refreshed and invigorated.

When I use it over my make up I feel like it helps to actually prologue my look as it perks the skin up and gives it a much needed boost throughout the day.

Perfect for use in the winter when radiators and central heating are working their hardest to sap all of the moisture from your skin, it is the perfect companion to help banish dull, dry skin.

Its delicate and aromatic scent is also a real pleasure for the soul. I love being able to smell it on my skin and it really helps to calm my mind and relax me.

The mist pictured in this post is actually housed within a Limited Edition bottle, with the original packaging being clear frosted glass, but I love the feminine pink tone and silver stars of this bottle so plan on nabbing a few more before I can’t get hold of it any more!

It’s easy to see why this mist is so popular and I too am now a huge fan.

I can’t wait to get stuck in and explore more from this gorgeous brand!

You can bag your own Limited Edition Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Mist now from Lookfantastic where it costs £30 for 50ml.

Ted Baker Sweet Treats Mia

Ted Baker Sweet Treats comprises of a collection of gorgeous, classic and feminine fragrances.

Designed for girls that like fragrances with distinctive personalities, each scent creates an indulgent aura of glamour and sophistication.

Elegance and glamour is a theme that is also reflected in the packaging and the fragrance bottle itself.
Housed within a chic, rectangular glass bottle and with a soft pink glow emanating from the base, it is undeniably classic and chic.

The domed, rose gold stopper features a pastel pink gem on the top and mirrors the shade of the rose gold writing across the bottle.

The straightness of the lines on the bottle are softened by the soft curves of the corners and offer a beautiful contrast of modernity (being the shape of the bottle) and the feminine glamour reflected in the design of the pretty, decorated stopper.

Mia is a delicate, floral fragrance which features unexpected hints of sweetness.

Top notes of  sweet lemon, raspberry and blackcurrant blend with a seductive base of patchouli and golden amber to create a scent which is both light and mellow and yet somehow deep and seductive.

If (like me) you’re not a huge fan of heavy floral scents, it works well as a gentle introduction into more floral based fragrances.

Feminine and charming, it is a really gorgeous scent which is presented so beautifully.

It is priced brilliantly at £30 for 100ml and it’s currently on offer at Boots for £25 so there’s never been a better time to treat yourself to a new fragrance!

Sand & Sky Brilliant Skin Purifying Pink Clay Mask

I’ve never been a face mask kinda gal. I’m not sure why really, I think it goes back to an occasion in my teens when I used a mask then broke out horribly and I vowed never to use a face mask again.

That was until I came across the Sand & Sky Brilliant Skin Purifying Pink Clay Mask.

I saw photos and videos all over social media of this dusky pink mask being used revealing brilliant results and curiosity finally got the better of me.

So, what’s so special about this product?

The key ingredient within this pretty pink mask is Australian pink clay which is a bit of superstar it seems.

This clay instantly works to detox by drawing out impurities, toxins and pollutants from the skin. It invigorates a dull complexion while tightening and refining pores and gives your skin an instantaneous boost of radiance.

Organic liquorice and old man’s weed help to regenerate the skin cells and stimulate cell production, which gently removes pigmentation clusters from the skin’s surface while organic pomegranate and aloe vera tighten pores, soothe the skin and stimulate collagen production for long-term firming.

Sounds pretty fab right?

Well, the pink clay is also complemented by kakadu plum and organic mangosteen which guard against free radical damage and create a defensive shield to help deflect harmful pollutants.

I had no idea that a mask could work in so many beneficial ways!

So, after doing my research it was time to bite the bullet and try it myself. I have sensitive skin and I am always so wary of using new products in case they cause a reaction, but I was reassured to read the mask is suitable for sensitive skin.

The fab little pot comes with a dinky little application brush with the softest bristles. I’d never thought of applying a mask with a brush before but I really enjoyed the process and stroking the mask onto my face with the soft bristles was really rather pleasant!

I applied a generous amount to my face avoiding my eyes and lips but started to panic as I could immediately feel a tingling sensation on my skin.

A quick read of the Sand & Sky website reassured me that this was totally normal so I sat back to let the mask work it’s magic for 10 minutes.

I dried pretty quickly and I rinsed it off with warm water to reveal a soft, toned and glowy looking complexion.

My skin felt toned and firm, clean and radiant. I was actually really, really impressed.

I did find that I needed to use a little more of my moisturiser after I’d used the mask than I would ordinarily after just cleaning but I don’t think that’s a big deal.

I imagine the mask would be a brilliant treat for your skin if you used it just before bed as it provides a brilliant base for your other skincare products to work effectively.

If like me you have oily to combination skin you can use the mask 2-3 times a week, otherwise its recommended for use once or twice a week.

Although the initial outlay of £39.90 may seem like a lot for a face mask, I reckon you could get a least 15 masks out of this pot, if not more depending on if you use it on your whole face or just problem areas.

I’m please to say that I’m a huge fan and a face mask convert because of this product.

The Sand & Sky Brilliant Skin Purifying Pink Clay Mask is available now from their website.
