Too Faced Life's A Festival Collection

Too Faced’s new Life’s A Festival collection HAS to be one of their most fun, vibrant and magical ranges to date.

This festival inspired collection features an ethereal palette of mystical shades, bold mattes, highlighters and so, so much more!

Created with a high-impact finish in mind, this sparkling, shimmery, magical range has been infused with a sweet, dreamy vanilla scent to excite your senses and continue the fantastical experience!

The collection is actually pretty expansive and contains everything you could possibly want to create a mystical, unicorn, festival-inspired look but I’ve chosen to focus on three of their key products;

Unicorn Horn Mystical Effects Highlighting Stick (£22)

Unicorn Tears Iridescent Mystical Bronzer (£25)

Unicorn Tears La Crème Mystical Effects Lipstick (£18)

Lets start with the Mystical Effects Highlighting Stick and may we just take a moment to appreciate HOW fabulous this product looks!

Housed within the prettiest pearlescent blue tube with a lid adorned with a gold, glittering unicorn you know this product is going to be out of this world before you’ve even tried it.

In case you hadn’t noticed, this lovely has been inspired by a unicorn’s mystical horn and is actually available in two shades; the pearly blue pictured and also a pretty, pastel pink.

Smelling good enough to eat this creamy highlighter glides onto your skin leaving behind a soft, light-catching pearlescent glow.

Lightweight and easy to blend it allows for precise application and you can build it up from a soft subtle glow, to a powerful iridescent sheen that will definitely get you noticed!

Next up is the gorgeous bronzer.

Housed with a cute compact complete with a mirror, it features the same pearly blue hue as the rest of the Unicorn line.

It’s lid is beautifully adorned with the image of a unicorn dancing on a rainbow, surrounded by stars.
Cute or what!

The powder is infused with the familiar vanilla sweetness associated with the rest of the line and features an iridescent, violet unicorn embossed within the compact.

This bronzer is fab as you can blend the bronze and violet together to create a soft golden glow with a subtle violet hint, or alternatively use them separately for a stand out look.

The warm bronze is gorgeously soft, applies like a dream and leaves you with an all over healthy glow while the violet unicorn can be used as a highlighter on your cheek and brow bones.

Trouble is, with a palette this pretty you find yourself reluctant to use it for fear of ruining its beauty!
Last but by no means least is the La Crème Mystical Effects Lipstick in Unicorn Tears.

Available in 4 magical shades this magical lipcolour changes with your own body chemistry.

Each shade contains colour-shifting technology meaning that it adjusts to your own body chemistry leaving you with your very own, unique shade.

How cool is that!

Now, I’m all for cracking out vibrant and bright looks when the occasion calls for it, but you’ve gotta be one seriously cool and confident girl to carry off the blue-lip look that this shade creates!

It is VERY pretty though; check out the way it catches the light and changes its appearance! Just gorgeous!

Creamy, easy to apply, highly pigmented and buildable, this lip crème will definitely get you noticed!

The more I play around with this collection the more I love it.

It’s just fun, and isn’t that what make up should be? Fun!

The entire Too Faced’s Life’s A Festival collection will be available from March 15th from Debenhams and Selfridges.

Shay & Blue Black Tulip

Black Tulip is the brand new intoxicating and bewitching scent from British Perfumers Shay & Blue.

Described as a ‘modern floral’ this deliciously seductive fragrance has quickly become one of my favourite perfumes.

Hand poured into a luxurious and chic smoky blue, heavy glass bottle with gold details it exudes pure elegance.

Shay and Blue pride themselves on their passion, care and attention that goes into creating every scent and you can really tell.

Everything is hand harvested, hand weighed, hand distilled and they create their fragrances with only the freshest natural scents with real flowers fruit and spices.

Affordably luxury is key with this boutique perfumery, allowing everyone the opportunity to experience their exquisite scents.

So, onto this newbie.

Black Tulip was created last year by perfumer Julie Massé, Perfumer along with Shay & Blue’s founder, Dom De Vetta.

Intriguing and beguiling the fragrance opens with top notes of snowdrops and cyclamen which offer and instant floral hit before heart notes of Black Tulip and plum create a well rounded, giddy richness.

Base notes of white chocolate and soft woods round off the scent to perfection, creating a soft, creamy, sweet warmth which leaves you feeling completely addicted to its beautiful scent.

Enchanting is probably the best word I can think of to use to describe Black Tulip.

Yes it is to all intents and purposes a floral scent, but it is also so much more than that.

It is deep, rich, beautiful and soft, making it the perfect scent for cold winter days and dark, mysterious evenings.

It is so different in composition and scent from many other fragrances and I can guarantee that when I wear it out, at least one person will comment on its charming elegance.

It is by far my favourite Shay & Blue scent – to date anyway!

You can check out Shay & Blue’s new Black Tulip Fragrance on their website where it costs £55 for 100ml, £25 for 10ml or £5 for a 2ml tester spray, allowing you to try before committing to a full size bottle which in my opinion, is inspired!

The Body Shop Lip Juicers

I LOVE a cute Lip balm- let’s be honest, who doesn’t.

It will come as no surprise then to hear that I’m head over heels in love with The Body Shops new range of Lip Juicer Balms (£7 each).

These fabulous, compact and cute new additions are 100% vegan and scented with smoothie-inspired combinations, leaving a wonderfully fruity, mouth-watering experience!

Available in 5 gorgeous shades each juicer is enriched with Community Trade shea butter, marula oil and organic olive oil to deeply nourish, repair and protect your lips.

I have three of the five flavours; Kiwi, Kale & Watermelon, Acai, Blueberry & Dragon Fruit and Strawberry, Pomegranate & Aloe and it’s almost impossible to decide which Juicer I love the most!

I adore my kiwi, kale and watermelon as it possesses the most overwhelming scent of watermelon which is both refreshing and delicious!

Rich, thick and a pleasure to apply thanks to its easy glide-on applicator, it does a fab job of keeping my lips soft and nourishing and because it is so rich it lasts for ages without needing to apply it again.

Equally I’m a huge fan of my strawberry, pomegranate and aloe Juicer as this flavour imparts a delicate and pretty hint of colour within the balm.

Soft, subtle and natural I adore its delicate shade and am addicted to its sweet, fruity scent!

Lastly but by no means least is the Acai, Blueberry and Dragon Fruit Juicer which is more exotic flavoured than the other two, provides a more powerful pop of colour yet is equally addictive!

Soft and more subtle in scent it is a beautiful, rich and more highly pigmented balm which leaves your lips drenched in a soft, purple tone.

I really love these balms.

I love their cute and quirky design, vivid and bold colours, deliciously fruity scents and super hydrating qualities.

Trust me, you’ll struggle to just choose one as your favourite too!

The Body Shop’s Lip Juicer Balms are available now and cost £7 each.
