Krispy Kreme Doughnut Bites

We all have those little treats in life that we love. Little pieces of joy that help to perk up a miserable day, lift your mood and generally just make you feel happy.

For many people its chocolate. For me, it’s Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.

I rarely crave chocolate, but I very often find myself longing for a deliciously soft, squidgy, sweet and delicious doughnut and there’s no other doughnut that id rather treat myself to than a Krispy Kreme one.

I’m a pretty simple girl really and when it comes to flavours I’m in my element with a simple yet perfect original glazed or raspberry glazed. My mouth is watering just typing that, ha!

Imagine my delight then when I saw that Krispy Kreme had launched Doughnut Bites!

From the 26th Feb until the 8th April you can treat yourself to a snack size box of 8 light, fluffy and delicious doughnut bites.

For fans of the Original Glazed you’ll be in your element.

These little balls of joy are essential bite size pieces of the original and feature the same melt in your mouth, moreish recipe that has hooked many a customer!

Costing £3.95 and packaged in a super cute mini box you get 8 of these delicious bites to enjoy.

Now, I hadn’t thought of it like this when I saw that these had launched, but because of their size they are actually extremely diet friendly.

If like me you’re following a healthy eating plan or diet, you might like to know that each bite contains approximately 46 calories, with a serving size of 3 containing 138.

I follow Slimming World and that means that each bite is the equivalent of just over 2syns a piece.

Now I don’t know about you, but personally I can think of nothing better to spend my calories or syns on than some deliciously comforting doughnuts.

You could actually eat the entire box and not feel too guilty about doing it OR if you don’t worry about your calorie intake (like my husband) they are the perfect snack sized pieces to just pop in your mouth and enjoy throughout the day!

Who am I kidding, these didn’t last all day at all. They are so light delicious they didn’t last longer than 5 minutes, but if you have more self restraint than me and my hubby they might!

Have I whet your appetite?

Well you need to hurry because they scrummy treats are only available until the 8th April so hot foot it down to your local Krispy Kreme store now to enjoy them before they go!

Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser

You all know that I am the most gigantic Pixi Glow Tonic Fan.

Ever since the legend that is Mrs Caroline Hirons suggested I try it to help with my congested, problematic skin I’ve never looked back.

I can now add Pixi’s Glow Mud Cleanser to my list of most favourite skincare products ever.

This deeply cleansing mud gently exfoliates your skin to leave it looking and feeling beautiful.

Enriched with 5% glycolic acid and soothing botanicals, it is delicate enough for even sensitive skin like mine, yet powerful enough to make a real difference to the appearance of your skin.

This thick, rich cleanser has a soft green hue and smells beautifully relaxing and light.

Applied to damp skin and massaged for 30 seconds, its aroma envelopes your senses while it works to deeply cleanse your pores.

The glycolic acid content gently exfoliates and revitalises your skin to reveal skin that is not just beautifully clean, but soft, radiant and glowing.

It is such a gorgeous cleanser, I wish I’d found it sooner!

It has a really appealing texture, so thick that its almost like a face mask. In fact, I have on occasion used it a bit like mask by applying it and leaving it for several minutes before massaging and rinsing off for an even deeper cleanse.

Rich and soothing it is perfect for my really sensitive skin and once rinsed off I was left without a hint of tightness or dryness, which I didn’t expect.

If you have sensitive skin but are looking for a cleanser with an acid then I can highly recommend Pixi’s Glow Mud Cleanser.

Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser is available now and costs £18.

L’Occitane Terre de Lumiere L’Eau

Terre De Lumiere L’Eau is the beautiful new fragrance from L’Occitane.

Perfect for spring both in look and scent, L’Eau is the delicate new interpretation of the much loved original.

Lighter in appeal and appearance, this fragrance was created to reflect the light of dawn in Provence with a bouquet of soft, light floral notes.

Its bottle offers a nod back to the original fragrance but L’Eau features pretty, soft pink hues, reflecting the playful lightness of the nectar within.

Perfect for the forthcoming spring months when you may be looking for a lighter, less heady fragrance it opens with top notes of spicy pink pepper, bergamot and fruity blackcurrant offer a sweet yet enticing experience before heart notes of pink peony burst onto the scene creating a stunning floral explosion.

Base notes of bitter almond essence, tonka bean and white musk envelop the senses and offer a creamy and soft warmth, complimenting the lighter notes to create a well-rounded and delightful fragrance.

Sophisticated yet light-hearted and undeniably feminine, it offers a delicate freshness which for someone like me who isn’t a big fan of florals, actually stops the floral elements from being too overpowering.

On a more superficial level it really is a gorgeous bottle too, one that really brightens up both your dressing table and your day.

L’Occitane Terre de Lumiere L’Eau is available now and costs £49 for 50ml.
