Healthy Sexy Hair

I love chocolate and I love cocoa butter but I’ve never thought about using it on my hair.

Just as well Sexy Hair have introduced me to their Healthy Sexy hair range of hair products that contain cocoa, among a host of other hair loving ingredients.

I didn’t know this, but apparently the benefits of chocolate on the hair include:

I was very excited to try their shampoo, conditioner and 22 in one leave in treatment

So, the Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner (£19.95 each for 1000ml) contain a blend of soy proteins, strengthening, moisturizing and protecting ingredients safe for color-treated hair. Cocoa replenishes hair’s moisture, has intensive repairing qualities, provides deep conditioning and strengthening properties and promotes soft and manageable hair.

I’ll admit, I was somewhat disappointed that neither product really had a fragrance or scent, given its cocoa content I had hoped it may smell a little chocolately but alas, no.

My disappointment quickly evaporated however once I used the products.

The shampoo lathered beautifully and rinsed off easy to leave my hair squeaky clean (something that I love!) and the conditioner was both thick, rich and creamy but also surprisingly light. It left my hair soft and silky without weighing it down which was perfect.

I was delighted when I realised that the Healthy Sexy Hair Soya Want It All 22 in 1 leave in treatment (£16.95) smelt amazing!

Housed within an aerosol can, this super lightweight treatment smells gorgeously fruity and fresh and when spritzed onto towel dried hair, leaves your hair feeling extremely soft and looking shiny.

I can’t believe I haven’t heard of this brand before but I’m extremely impressed with this range of products.
